The 2012 ASP Annual Conference is a residential conference and we have negotiated excellent accommodation rates at Country Club Tasmania, the conference venue. The registration fees in the table below include accommodation (2-5 July 2012).

Full conference registration fee (Early Bird rates before 2 April 2012) without accommodation for local Launceston ASP members is $790, local Launceston ASP Student members is $590, local Launceston non-Society members is $990, local Launceston non-Society Student is $690.
Full conference registration fee (Non-early Bird rates between 2 April and 25 June 2012) without accommodation for local Launceston ASP members is $990, local Launceston ASP Student members is $790, local Launceston non-Society members is $1190, local Launceston non-Society Student is $890.
Day Registration is available online and Day Delegate rate is $350 per day.
After June 25, 2012, Day Registration, by cash or cheque to the ASP, on site, will be the only possibility at $350 per day.
Extra Conference Banquet tickets = $80; Extra Poster Buffet Dinner Tickets = $50; Extra Welcome Reception Ticket (persons under 18 years of age are not allowed in the Tonic Bar where this event will be held) = $50.
Registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and include: entrance to all sessions; the evening Welcome Reception on 2 July 2012; lunches, and morning and afternoon teas on Tuesday 3 July 2012 and Thursday 5 July 2012; afternoon tea and Poster Viewing session with drinks and buffet dinner on Wednesday 4 July 2011.; the Conference Banquet with pre-dinner drinks on 5 July 2011.
Online registration and payment
We are pleased to to offer conference delegates the option of secure online credit card payment through Paypal when registering online. Please note that the Network office no longer has the facilities to process credit cards by hand; but we are sure that you will find the online secure payment option through Paypal preferable. Accompanying persons
Bree Philpot at Launceston Travel and Information Centre will be managing bookings for pre, post and during conference tours, please contact Bree with any queries (bree.philpot@launceston.tas.gov.au) or call the Launceston Travel and Information Centre on 1800 651 827 and ask to speak to Bree.
If accompanying persons wish to attend the Conference Dinner on Thursday 5 July 2012, tickets will need to be pre-booked and paid for (AUS$80.00 each) when registering for the conference. If accompanying persons wish to attend other social events these will also need to be pre-booked and paid for when registering for the conference. Costs are: AUS$50 for the Welcome Reception (persons under 18 years of age are not allowed in the Tonic Bar where this event will be held), AUS$50 for the buffet dinner with drinks on Wednesday 4 July 2012.
Babysitting can be arranged at Country Club Tasmania and a Young Parasites Club will be available Monday evening 2nd July and at the resort and Thursday evening 5th July at the dinner venue during the conference. Please contact Lisa if you are interested in organising babysitting or interested in your child/children attending Kids Club during the conference (Lisa.Jones1@jcu.edu.au, 07-40421311).
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation of registration must be notified in writing to the Conference Coordinator, Lisa Jones (lisa.jones1@jcu.edu.au). Cancellation of registration received before Friday 1 June 2012 will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee. Cancellation of registration between Friday 1 and Friday 15 June 2012 will receive an 50% refund of the registration fee. There will be no refund for cancellation of registration after Friday 15 June 2012 or failure to turn up at the Conference. Payments will be refunded if the conference is cancelled by the organiser. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed. Refunds will be issued by cheque only and may take up to a month to process.
Accommodation
Please note that, unless stated otherwise, the registration fee includes accommodation at Country Club Tasmania. Breakfast is not included in the registration fee but can be purchased for an additional $19 per person per day. We strongly encourage all delegates to stay onsite at Country Club Tasmania as this is a residential conference and the conference venue resides outside of Launceston. There is one registration fee for delegates who are local to Launceston who do not wish to stay overnight at the Country Club Tasmania. Accommodation at Country Club Tasmania must be booked online as part of the 2012 ASP conference registration. Delegates can select their preference for accommodation room type at Country Club Tasmania during the online registration process; see the Conference Advice page for details of the accommodation. Cancellation of accommodation at Country Club Tasmania must be notified in writing to the Conference Coordinator, Lisa Jones (lisa.jones1@jcu.edu.au) and the same cancellation fees apply as written above under "Cancellations and refunds".
Insurance
Registration does not include insurance of any kind. Delegates should arrange their own insurance when booking registration and travel. The Network, Society and Conference organisers will take no responsibility for personal injury, death, loss of property, or damage caused by participants, however caused or arising.
