Research interests

Communication and recognition between organisms determine "choice" by, for example, parasites for particular host species and govern "preferences" for a particular site on in the host. I use monogenean parasites of fishes as "models" for manipulative biological research to examine events at the parasite-host interface that maintain the association.

Qualifications

B.Sc. (Hons) 1982, University of East Anglia, Norwich, U.K.

PhD 1986 University of East Anglia, Norwich, U.K.
